"How we speak" workshops in primary schools in Glasgow and Fife

Description

Children in P1, P2, P5 and P6 participated in interactive sessions designed to help them understand how speech is produced, exploring the roles of the lungs, vocal cords and articulators. Through hands-on activities, they discovered how each system contributes to speaking, and how challenges in any subsystem can make communication harder, illustrating what speech disorders might feel like for some people.
