Activity: Public Engagement and Outreach › Public Events

Description

Two public engagement events with children and families at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow. We showed over 60 children and their families how their tongue is involved in the production of speech and how the ultrasound can be used for assessment and therapy of speech. We also conducted a fun sound prolongation task to show how respiration and lung capacity is involved in speech production.
