Future Cities Workshop "What Makes a Successful City?"

Description

This one-day event showcased the University of Strathclyde’s Institute for Future Cities and introduced everyone to the City Observatory in the new Technology and Innovation Centre. This interdisciplinary workshop, designed for a wide audience, looked at wellbeing, energy, security, urban design, transport, and data analytics in the context of improving city life. Speakers included: • Richard Bellingham, Director of the Institute for Future Cities • David Page, Page\Park Architects • Ross Hunter, Graven Images • Cathy Johnston, Glasgow City Council • Scott Cain, Future Cities Catapult • Jeremy Levesley, University of Leicester.
