Funding and Engineering Doctorate opportunities in Image Processing and Photonics

This meeting will present attendees with details of two opportunities to access EngD students and project funding.

Derryck Reid (Director) will give details of the renewed EPSRC CDT with Heriot Watt in Industry-Inspired Photonic Imaging, Sensing and Analysis together with case studies of EngD from academic and industry perspective from Fraunhofer UK.

Your Strathclyde contacts for the new CDT are Stephen Marshall (CDT Deputy Director) and Gordon Flockhart (Strathclyde CDT Course Director) who will also be available during the meeting.

Following this Dr Deb Carr will talk about routes to access funding via DASA (Defence and Security Accelerator).

The talks will be followed by a buffet lunch and speakers will be available to discuss specific queries.
