As part of the 14th European Sociological Association 2019: Boundaries, Barriers, and Belonging, I organised a symposium: From education to employment: Transitions to employment among university students and graduates. The following papers were presented, with the Symposium and discussion chaired by Prof Ian Allison. - How Does Social Disadvantage Affect Students' Strategies For Becoming An 'Employable Graduate'? Paid and unpaid graduate internships in the creative sector (Hunt, W., & Scott, P.) - Ethnicity and employability: Comparing the outcomes of Albanian and Italian graduates from Italian universities (Manitiu, D., & Galeazzi, S.) - The Role Of Internships In Enhancing Graduate Labour Market Transitions In The UK And Italy (Tzanakou, C. Luchinskaya, D., Cattani, L., & Pedrini, G.) I also chaired a session on "The Variety of Work and Labour"
