Abstract: Significant work has been carried out previously on learning gain and now providers engaging in the TEF have the challenge of evaluating educational gain in their TEF submissions.
The session is aimed at those leading discussions on educational gain in their institutions including senior academic managers, quality professionals and student representatives. Students come to higher education to study for qualifications and, in doing so, we hope they have an enriching – perhaps even life transforming – experience. But how can we describe, evidence and evaluate those wider benefits of the student learning experience?
