Description

This workshop allowed university students from across Europe to learn how ESA assesses technical and financial feasibility of space missions by designing a satellite mission that could track African elephants remotely without the use of transmitters on the animals to support actions taken to stop ivory trade. I was personally responsible for the life cycle assessment subsystem and this was the first time that the LCA subsystem had ever been integrated into the concurrent design process of a space mission.
