Description
Member of the Organising Committee of the European Geothermal PhD Days (EGPD) 2023 with 6 other PhD Students of the Universities of Strathclyde, Glasgow and Edinburgh. The 14th EGPD took place in Glasgow from the 4th to 6th of April, 2023. The EGPD is an annual event organised by PhD students from different universities all around Europe that was started in 2010 as an initiative of the EERA joint program on geothermal energy. Every year, between 50 and 80 (more than 60 in 2023) young scientists from various research fields in geothermal energy come together to share their knowledge and experience. The first 2 days of the conference included poster and presentation sessions from PhD students and keynote speakers. The last day featured a field trip and a workshop at the UKGEOS Glasgow Observatory.
