In this podcast, Victoria speaks with Lidia Acosta Mederos, who is originally from La Palma, one of Spain’s Canary Islands, off Northwestern Africa, and who now resides in Glasgow, Scotland and works as a senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde. This podcast was recorded weeks before the volcanic eruptions which have caused terrible damage to the inhabitants of this beautiful island and has changed the lives of so many people on La Palma.
