In this paper, we problematise current approaches to Entrepreneurship Education as ill suited to the situated, constantly evolving and sustainability focused nature of 21st century business. Concept-driven (“about entrepreneurship”) approaches are unlikely to be effective because they stop short of enabling cognitive and behavioral change that leads to entrepreneurial action. “How to” approaches, on the other hand, prescribe tasks without working on the underpinnings that drive lasting behavioural change. In response, we propose an approach to Entrepreneurial Education that focuses on Entrepreneurial Mindset as cognitive, emotional and behavioral competence development for situated value creation.
