Decarbonising Heat Crucible: A collaborative approach to decarbonising local communities

With a focus on households at all scales, from individual homes through neighbourhoods and towns to regions and country, the Energy, Homes and Livelihoods’ Alliance (EHL) supports Scotland’s academics to research the interrelated social, technical, and financial opportunities and challenges to transform the country’s households into agents for sustainability. Bringing together researchers across disciplines, institutions, and sectors, EHL hosts cross-sector collaborative interdisciplinary research events to accelerate grant capture, stimulate stakeholder engagement, and build capacity for evidence-based policy engagement that will help create an equitable transition to a net zero future in Scotland.
