Description

The aim of this workshop was to facilitate cooperation and engagement between academic researchers and policy makers in Scotland and Norway that work on (selected) marine environmental and maritime security issues that are of common concern.

The workshop was organised by Jessica Schechinger, with funding and support from the Scottish Council on Global Affairs (SCGA) through an Engagement Award (that supports the project titled ‘Cooperation in the High North between Scotland, Norway, and the Arctic Council: Towards more Secure and Sustainable Oceans’); the University of Glasgow School of Law; and the Glasgow Centre for International Law and Security (GCILS).
