Workshop developed with community members from Stromness and Kirkwall, Orkney, as part of the project: Big projects, little community benefit? How low carbon pilot projects help to tackle fuel and transport poverty in island communities.
Objectives: Gain understanding of specific issues in their locality; discussion around government-funded low carbon projects developed in the community, on topics of community awareness, engagement and benefits; Discussion around lessons from these projects and potential solutions for community issues.
Expected outcome: list of key insights, lessons learned and potential good practice for future projects.
