CMAC Doctoral Training Week at Loughborough University

Activity: Participating in or organising an event typesParticipation in workshop, seminar, course

Description

Introduction to crystallisation process engineering, including concepts of population balance modelling and process analytical technology (PAT). Approaches and tools for mathematical modelling of crystallisation systems with hands-on sessions on an advanced simulation software was also provided. As well as understanding the role of mathematical models significance towards monitoring, analysing and controlling crystallization systems, understanding key features of process analytical technologies such as ATR-UV/Vis, FBRM, Raman and PVM for monitoring crystallisation processes using the crystallisation process informatics system (CryPRINS) was also developed.
