Description
In this session we will explore how discourses of coloniality circulate across different modes and media and what this could mean for teaching and research that seeks to engage decolonial praxis. Using a cluster of multimodal texts, including a monument, online information texts, and a workbook designed for student teachers, we will consider how discourses (have) become entangled. This session welcomes anyone interested in the critical analysis of texts and discourses, as well as those interested in language, literacy, and literature education.Period | 19 May 2022 |
