Description

A 6 month collaborative programme with five international HEIs (Strathclyde, Peking University, University of Waterloo, Stellenbosch University Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences and KTH). Institutional cohorts of academics, PGR/PDRA and PG/UG students explored the context of climate change and the sustainability agenda both in their own countries, and in that of others. The programme aimed to:
• Providing an opportunity for students and staff from across Universities to hear different disciplinary perspectives
• Build international perspectives and develop friendships and networks across the world
• Develop skills which are highly desirable with future employers
• Learn more about “your” role in the climate and sustainable development challenges and challenge some current beliefs and thoughts
• Engage with others in discourse around activism and actions around climate change and sustainable development
