The book will be a compilation of edited chapters together aiming to provide a resource on the implementation of Inquiry Based Approaches in Science Teacher Education. The book will use IBSTE as its theoretical framework, seeking to develop and illustrate connections between knowledge deriving from the science education research community (scientific knowledge), from the science teachers’ community (teaching practices), and educational innovation. In this way we intend to provide the science teacher-education community with new knowledge related to innovative ways of developing and implementing teacher preparation, induction and professional development programmes.
