Description
Exploring Civic Street as a living lab for ideas around active mobility, urban retrofit, and sustainable place-making. This workshop will bring together students, academics, and practitioners from across disciplines to explore how a specific site - Civic Street and the surrounding canal corridor - can act as a living lab for testing and connecting ideas around active mobility, urban retrofit, and sustainable place-making.The session will introduce participants to an ongoing collaborative project between the University of Strathclyde and Agile City, inviting discussion about how academic work can engage with civic spaces and create tangible social and environmental impact.
The session will close with lunch provided for attendees and an opportunity to network and enjoy the Civic House space.
