Attending the 21st British Geotechnical Association (BGA) annual conference and AGM provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues in the geotechnical community. The event took place at the prestigious institution of civil engineers and the British Geotechnical Association on Great George Street, London. As the UK member society of both the International Society for Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering and the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), BGA plays a significant role in the global geotechnical engineering arena.
