The Brazilian Motor Behavior Society hosts the Brazilian Congress of Motor Behavior biannually. Its objective is to promote opportunities for interaction, discussion and exchangeduring students, teachers and researchers to foster the development of the field of motor behavior including motor development, motor learning; and motor control. For this meeting—which was a virtual event in 2022—Dr Farid Bardid (University of Strathclyde) was invited to deliver a lecture on motor development. His talk covered motor skill assessment in children and adolescents.
